Is the Buzzer a good fly for fly fishing?

Is it good on streams,still waters, and is it good for trout or if not what kind of fish is it good for

    The Buzzer is an imitation of the chironomide nymph ( mosquito family ) , it is very effective fished in still waters , but not so good in streams . fish it on a long leader ( tippet ) 12 — 18 feet grease the leader to within a couple of inches of the buzzer and cast in the area of rising trout. Most effective colours Black , Red , Green
